I have tried more self-tanners and professional spray tans than I care to admit, and I can confidently say this is one of the most beautiful tanning colors I have ever achieved!
Let’s talk about the COLOR because this is where SUNNA really shines! Finding a true olive/green-based gradual self-tanner has been surprisingly difficult. I’ve tried other olive-based tanning mousses, but they leave such a noticeable green tint while developing that you wouldn’t exactly want to leave the house wearing them.
SUNNA is completely different! The color guide is absolutely gorgeous. Instead of looking green, you immediately get this beautiful, rich, deep olive-bronze appearance that actually looks like a tan. You can genuinely apply it and go about your day looking beautifully bronzed while the color develops underneath.
One thing worth knowing: This is NOT your typical gradual tanning lotion! If you’re expecting a white moisturizer that gradually builds a subtle tan over several applications, this isn’t that. The product itself is a dark, pigmented tanning liquid with a rich olive-brown color guide. Think more along the lines of a traditional color-guided tanning product than your everyday body lotion.
Because of that, I absolutely recommend applying it with a tanning mitt or gloves. Personally, I use disposable surgical gloves, and application couldn’t be easier! It spreads and blends beautifully, and I’ve had no issues with streaking.
